What’s more independent then Winemaking? Tasting it!

I have definitely neglected talking to everyone about one of my favorite things in the world…wine, but wait let me give some back ground. After working at a hotel, resturant, spa in small town wine country I developed a pallete for great wine.

Unfortunately at the time, there weren’t that many people who were as young and really into wine. One of the people who I always had fun with was Markus Bokisch the owner of Bokisch Vinyards in Lodi, Ca. He would come around talking about this “Graciano” that he had. “I went to Spain and brought the vines over myself” he would say. “No one else has the fruit that I have”, he would go on and on.

Of course what I didn’t know was that he was not only a great, fun guy but he would introduce me to what would be one of my favorite all time wines. And today I’m sharing it with you.

I’m not one for going on and on about things you need to try for yourself, just know that if it wasn’t one of the best I’d ever had, I wouldn’t even waste my time. If you can’t find it when you’re out, go to the site and snatch it up you’ll never regret it.
