It takes more then great ideas, you have to take action. Behance has tools to keep you moving.

behance-notebook The more years go by on my life ticker the more I realize I don't like wasting time going over ideas that have been sitting around for months. I like to have an idea, figure out the steps to get said thing done and then start doing them. More and more often starting a project with this great jumping off point equals completion and in a timely manner. What I've realized is that the right tools are essential to getting things done. Finally getting to your todo list and then crossing off twenty lines at the end of the day feels great. What's not so great is realizing that 10 to 15 of those things had no direct impact on projects your currently working on and that plugging in todo's that would've affected the important projects you have ahead of you would've been great. This is where I've learned to lean on of my favorite tools, the  Behance Action Method. When you're coming up with new ideas, piggybacking actions steps onto those thought bubbles and highlighted words is an essential step to make sure things GET DONE! Reaping rewards from great ideas is a race to action not a measurement of the ideas against others. It's important to keep in mind that creativity is abundant and what separates those with notebooks full of ideas from those with notebooks full completed projects is action. Behance knows this all to well and has not only come up with the Action Method but tools to help you use it. If note books don't appeal to you they've also come up with an online project manager that helps to keep you moving. *As a side note I believe that Behance tools work best for creative types. For instance I thrive using paper to expresses ideas and then a computer to execute and stay organized. Moreover Behance is a network for creatives and the tools they've come up with are targeted at them. This is not to say you should only use these tools if you draw, paint or do design (non of which I do) but it to let you know the type of mind they made it for.
