1. Democrates are as limp as an old mans junk. I’m soooooo tired of hearing Democrats talk about how bad Republicans screwed things up when they were in control. WHENEVER the Dems have control (ummm now) they can’t get anything done. The Republicans have majority and pass all kinds of things they want to get through. When the Dems are in control they complain about how they can’t get get bi-partisan support. Grow a back bone and if you want to get things done, get them done.
2. Republicans fixation on making sure nothing Obama is, does, or will do can be seen in a good light is the lamest thing ever. So sick of hearing how Obama is an illitist when he helped volunteers in Chicago and Bush went to freaking Yale and ran a baseball team….two things that mean you’re in the smallest percentage of Americans possible. How do you blame a guy for bowing? Please Reps, realize that the more you focus on trivial things, the more you aren’t listened to on the actually issues. You’re not wrong about everything or even the majority of things but if you hold on to the irrelevant things the same way you hold on to matters of principle how can ANYONE tell the difference?
3. If this is a free country and I’m supposed to vote to make a difference with my vote, why do I have to register in most places as a Rep or Dem? Why do I have to say I’m something I’m not? It makes no sense and needs to end asap.
4. Why should ANYONE believe that Rep have the answers now, when they had the white house and the congress and made alot of the current problems? Usually when someone screws up, they don’t get to tell everyone what the RIGHT thing to do it is…because if you KNEW you would’ve done it when you had the chance…..AND YOU GUYS HAD THE CHANCE. Can you shut up for even a year and take a humble pill? I’m not saying the guy in office is right…i’m saying shut up for a bit so we don’t have to hear you saying you are right.
5. Freaking Dems please stop thinking that just because alot of people voted for a Democrat that they ARE a Democrat. Just because people didn’t want to vote for Mc Cain and Obama seemed like an awesome guy at the time doesn’t mean they think Dems are great. I think you’d be hard pressed to find a handful of Dems besides Obama most people think are great. Sit with that for a bit.
6. Rep and Dem soooo much corruption on both sides of the isle, we could go on for days about it. Neither side can claim to have good principles, atleast not that they practice in the public eye. I see more politicians getting in trouble now days then athletes. DAMN SON!
7. Rep and Dem…..will you please stop looking out for your party and start looking out for people on the whole again (at one point you both did this). This is not a marketing race to see who can win the most market share. Rep and Dem’s of the past have gotten along JUST FINE. They have represented their interested and then sat down and done what was best using that old world from waaaaay back called compromise. In the end, doing all you can to stay in power will assure that you don’t.
To anyone reading: If you’re not talking and debating issues with people who don’t think like you, how can you possibly think you or your party have the right answers? If you only consider what’s right for you and your life, how can you possibly begin to think you know what’s right for others and that you’re being a good citizen of a large diverse society? If your goal is not to gain understanding of where someone else is coming from, why even talk to someone about the issues at hand? If you truely believe you have the right answers…why haven’t you stopped talking about running for office and actually done something to get involved? Or atleast talked to people in office?
In case you’re wondering….yes I volunteer, no I’m not rep or dem, no I do not believe that MSNBC, FOX, or CNN do a great job of providing news that helps people think and not continue to help cause more division, yes i actually give solutions or tools to help you find your own solutions on ATLEAST a monthly basis at LEGENDmag.net and finally yes…I’m done!
