The Toyroom Gallery (Sacramento) has a great show up right now. One of my favorite artist and some of his great artist type friends are showing and will be until May 11th (yea we’re a little late) but you shoud still check it out.
Make sure you head back for their upcoming show starting May 18 and 19. It looks like a smoker!!
There’s tons of art everyone and we’ve been really busy checking out and thought we’d tell you what’s going on right now and where to check it out. If you ain’t know (not a grammitical error) by know we love independent progressive anything so here’s the skinny.
First things first. A new gallery is always worth a first mention. 1988 Gallery (LA) has opening a new location in SF. Chris and I took some time out (in between stops for spirits) to check it out. Some really great art was abound and you all should be sure to check them out in the near future (8_bit there now).Â
Let is be known that as much as I hear about music in general (not just hip hop) being stail right now, we hope that everyone is looking for honest and sincere projects like this to grab a hold of. http://www.wordlifethemovie.com/
Everyone knows about the social policy to not mix religion in your conversation with people. It not only can get you into trouble with your homies but one or two of many gods as well. Blank Blank aims to get you to make it the center (or close) of your book shelf. We met Rob at the event on April 27th and checked out the site. Little did Rob know that we checked the book shelf inside Good mag and were looking to show the people what great indiependent design we have coming out of Sacramento. So check it out folks. Remember you might have to save up no matter what your income braket but it’ll be worth.Â
