Sad Bunnies, for a Winter Day

I imagine this is what Rai-mon feels like right about now in regards to non-indie products. (But I will let him explain in detail later…)

Beautiful art-direction and concept, and a freakishly dark theme.

Jott Your Thought

How many times have you been driving, thought of an idea, and scrambled to type it into your phone in bumper-to-bumper traffic without crashing? Well… dangerous driving be gone! Enter Jott.com. You dial a number, and say what you want. Jott converts it into text and sends it to the appropriate place. Check out the video:

Granted, they need to get a little better with the acting–and the blatant jawbone headset plug is a bit awkward–but you get the idea.

However, especially exciting for me is that it communicates with other services like Twitter, Wordpress, Blogger, Google Calendar, Toodledo, Backpack, among others! And best of all is that FREE word! So go check it out and tell ‘em LEGENDmag sent you!

PSA: For all the ladies!

Rambo_007 PSA: For all the ladies!

Ok here’s the thing. I met a lovely crew of young women at a Juxtapose release party the other night. While I’m dancing with one of them (we’ll call her Rambo) another girl latches on to my arm holding herself up from the drunken stupper that is calling her earth bound. Rambo says “Come on you know you like’m like that”. I’ll save my reply for later and skip to tonight.

After going to by far the best night of soul on the West Coast, Pacific Standard Time (big ups Sake 1) a new friend of ours is leaving the club with no one on her arm and a little stagger / stumble in her walk. A bouncer annouces to everyone “someones not doing their job!” From this point on, the vultures begin to surround thier prey and one actually goes home with a meal (more to the point she drives him home in her car).

Now don’t get me wrong I’m all for a women getting some when she needs it and not calling her names for it. But there are times when safety should over ride your “needs”. And to add on to the answer I talked about with Rambo, “there’s no real prize in talking to a mostly drunk women who has no friends to protect her and would gladly take you home if you just ask”.

So what happens in the morning when I actually want to talk to her? (I like conversation) What is going to stop her from falling in love when I decide to go and get breakfast with a wild flower because that’s the kind of guy I am? (won’t be her esteem that’s for sure) Ladies, I’m writting this because I love you all and for my four sisters.

There are people out there who’s “job” it is to take you home, get what they can and leave you holding the baggage. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a guy and I’ve done my share but I’m clearly past my “take a girl home and have drunk sex” phase and here’s what you all should know.

It’s tougher to talk to you when your defenses are up, but if you feel your worth it there won’t be a shortage of us willing to try. I had fun with you gals too and here’s to having more fun with you and everyone being coherent.

The Indie’s are coming - part deux

Good news for those interesting the fairness within the Presidential depate forum.  As indie/pendents we want to see ALL OF THE CANDIDATES.  Not just Hillary and Barack or Mitt and Macain, and because of the work of groups like indpendentprimary.com and others like yourself we will now have that open debate.

Yesterday the push for open and inclusive presidential debates scored a major victory.

A judge ruled that NBC had unfairly excluded Dennis Kucinich from their televised debate in Las Vegas. And the judge ordered NBC to include Kucinich or he’d stop the debate.

This is a groundbreaking legal decision. Never before has a presidential candidate won a decision for inclusion into a televised debate.”

Keep up the fight people!
